Marketing the job fair to employers
- Emails are sent to all previous employer participants, to all on campus employers (through HR listserv), to a list of JLD employers who have posted jobs with us recently.
- Our part time program assistant who does outreach to off campus employers will also market the event to local area employers.
- We have used off campus outlets, such as an employer flyer inserted into a Chamber of Commerce newsletter
- We contact local media (newspaper and local TV station). We have had local TV and also student TV representatives show up at the fair and conduct interviews to be aired on the news.
